The Board of Trustees are responsible for the effective management of the scheme, including employing and supervising staff, funding, insurance and premises. They provide leadership and direction and monitor and evaluate the scheme’s work on a regular basis, ensuring that it acts at all times within its Memorandum and Articles of Association and the Home-Start Agreement.
Meetings are arranged to suit the members every 4-6 weeks and travelling expenses will be offered.
Our trustees come from all walks of life, bringing their individual skills to the scheme. All volunteer because they want to improve the lives of parents and children; what they get back is the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped their community and, in many cases, gained the chance to enhance their own skills and knowledge.
